Just like you, we have faced real-life hurts and hurdles, struggles and setbacks. A few months after the birth of our first babies, we had some honest conversations about how things actually felt. Even our experience and credentials as therapists could not prepare us for the real-life experience of new motherhood. We wanted support. But not just any support. We wanted to connect with other women who got it. Women need other women. This is not something unique to new moms—this is true for all women. And yet, we could not seem to find what we were looking for. We became courageously committed to creating what we believe so many women want and need. 

We created Haven Counseling Collective for you. 

No matter what stage of life you are in, or what unique struggle you are facing, we want to help. We provide accessible, women-specific counseling services from therapists who are knowledgeable, practical and relatable. 

Professionally, we have a combined 22 years of experience in the field of therapy and women’s mental health. We have each worked with a variety of populations including women, children, adolescents, teenagers, university students, couples and groups. Prior to founding Haven Counseling Collective, we each owned and operated our own successful private practices, where we primarily treated women. We are both well connected in the therapy community and actively maintain a strong network of therapists, psychologists, medical providers, local university faculty and maternal healthcare practitioners. These connections enrich our offerings of counseling for moms and therapy for women in Orange county.
