Meet Amanda

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Newport Beach and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Provider. It has been my privilege to walk alongside women on their journey toward greater connection to themselves and others for the last 12 years. My depth-oriented approach is rooted in Attachment Theory and is experienced as empathetic, relational and collaborative in style.  

My office is a judgment-free, safe place to look at anything and everything with compassionate curiosity. My hope is to provide a space where my clients experience feeling seen, heard and known. I believe it is then that healing can begin.

I’ve made it a priority to meet each of the women I work with, right where they are. No two stories are the same and keeping this in mind, I customize treatment to fit each woman’s specific needs and goals. I utilize an integrative approach that includes techniques such as talk therapy, mindfulness and somatic connection. Additionally, I am a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapist (EMDR). As an EMDR therapist, I specialize in working with mothers who have experienced trauma trying to conceive, trauma during pregnancy, and/or birth trauma.
